Fort Miles Museum has worked closely with local artists and their families to acquire original paintings and quality prints of art that illustrates coastal defense and World War II.

Original artwork by Howard Schroeder, Paul Rendel and Abraxas are on display inside Battery 519 at Fort Miles Museum in the Howard Schroeder Gallery and Art of Fort Miles Gallery.

In addition to the original art that can be viewed at Battery 519, prints of paintings by Schroeder, Rendel, Abraxas and several other artists are on sale at the museum.

The prints of selected Schroeder works sold at Fort Miles are exclusive to Fort Miles Museum thanks to the generosity of the family of Howard Schroeder.
