Lindsay Family Honors Former FMHA Board Member Brian Lindsay
On January 25th, the family of one of the earliest FMHA Board members, Brian Lindsay, with assistance from officers of FMHA, dedicated a Memorial Bench in Brian’s honor at Fort Miles. From left to right in the photo below are FMHA President Gary Wray; Mr. Lindsay’s spouse, Bobbie Lindsay; FMHA Secretary Jim Pierce; FMHA Treasurer Larry Boyer; daughter, Cat Lindsay, and son-in-law, John Newman.
Brian Lindsay served on the FMHA Board of Directors from 2004 – 2014. He was a relentless promoter and fund raiser for our organization and always approached life with enthusiasm and energy. At the dedication, Dr. Wray and Bobbie provided commentary surrounding numerous anecdotes involving Mr. Lindsay during his tenure with FMHA. FMHA also wishes to thank Grant Melville, Superintendent of Cape Henlopen State Park, for his timely assistance with bench and plaque installation.
