Did you know? The Fort Miles Art Gallery is located inside Battery 519 featuring original art by noted military aircraft artist Paul Rendel, as well as works from other local artists.
The Gallery also displays award winning sketches from FMHA’s 1st and 2nd Annual Sketching Contests. See artifacts from Fort Miles such as decorative pillow cases (who knew?!) and WWII submarine posters from Electric Boat Company. There is also an interesting display of WWII ship models that especially appeal to children.
Finally, you will find prints offered for sale from famed artist Howard Schroeder in addition to prints of the Paul Rendel originals.
