FMHA – Cape Henlopen High School JROTC Scholarship Program Announces 2020 Awards
In 2018, Fort Miles Historical Association and Cape Henlopen High School JROTC created a program whereby JROTC cadets volunteer at Fort Miles. A scholarship program was then created to acknowledge those cadets that went above and beyond in their volunteer service to Fort Miles. The scholarship winners are selected based on number of volunteer hours served, maintaining a B+ GPA and overall show of dedication to the program. The 2020 scholarship winners were recently announced and are cadets Martin O’Reilly and Robert Marcottee. Cadets O’Reilly and Marcotte each received $500 scholarships.
In 2019, the inaugural scholarship winners were cadets Almita Ramirez and Yvette Rodriquez. FMHA and CHHS JROTC look forward to many years of furthering the scholarship program and continuing to serve the community as a team.
