About the Wall of Honor

The Fort Miles Museum Wall of Honor Paver Program was initiated to recognize veterans and civilians who served, and in some cases, sacrificed their lives for our country. Over the years, many family members have purchased engraved paver stones to honor loved ones.

You can see your name or that of a loved one honored on a handsome brick paver installed in the Wall of Honor. Each engraved paver is displayed in Battery 519, America’s foremost WWII museum at an actual military site, where thousands of museum visitors will see it.

Wall of Honor Ceremonies

Each year, FMHA holds two ceremonies to install new pavers into the Museum’s Wall of Honor. All donors are invited to attend the ceremony marking the installation of their paver in Battery 519. Ceremonies are usually held in May and November. The next ceremonies are scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025 and Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Order a Paver

To be included in the May ceremony, submit an order by March 1, and for the November ceremony, submit an order by September 1. By purchasing a paver to honor their loved ones and friends, families have a place to visit throughout the years to remember and honor those who served  Pavers can be ordered online though the FMHA website www.fortmilesha.org.
